NAVALNY – Feature Documentary (2022)
NAVALNY follows Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny in the months after his 2020 poisoning, as he and a team of investigators track down the men who tried to kill him, up to his return to Moscow and arrest in January 2021. The film premiered at Sundance and went on to win the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature and the BAFTA for Best Documentary. I worked as camera operator alongside DoP Niki Waltl during the shoot with Christo Grozev in Vienna.
